The Belvedere Hotel is located in Predeal, the highest altitude resort in Romania at 1110m on Cioplea. Built in 1974 the hotel was first named "Cioplea Hotel" and has created a tradition in Valea Prahovei mountain tourism. After years, preserving the same known standards the hotel reborn in 2004 with a new look, famous ad before and a new name: BELVEDERE. Winter snow storms are rare in this area so the snow can reach few meters in high and can last more than 100 days a year which makes this resort perfect for skiing and other winter sports.
