Amfiteatru Hotel it’s placed in the Calafat City , 80 km away from Craiova, on the main road (E79) towards South Europe.
It is situated in the center of the city, near Calafat Port. The Danube river lies at 5 minutes walking time. On the other side of the Danube is the Historical Fortress of Vidin, in Bulgaria.
The city will become the principal road and railway access gate that will connect Romania with the South Europe, due to the Vidin – Calafat Bridge that is to be constructed over the Danube.
